Baton Rouge police say hundreds DNA-tested 11/19/02 Over a year ago, I blogged a story from Austrialia where every man in town was asked for DNA samples. At the time, I said this was unlikely in the US. I was wrong.
This is what happens, "The warrant, which sought to force such a sample from a 44-year-old welder, says that "more than 600 white males have been contacted for the purpose of obtaining oral saliva swabs for DNA comparison.""
So they ask everyone, and then concentrate on those that aren't willing to submit their DNA. This is not good.
