Hiring the Right Person John has written a great article about what a company needs to do to make sure they hire the right person. Instead of complaining about how "most of the resumes I get are trash," why not try John's suggestions and make the job posting professional enough to gather only the best talent.

Ask for what you want and you might just get what you need.

Attrition Security Rant: Anti-Virus Companies: Tenacious Spammers - Who's the biggest spammer? Could it actually be the anti-virus companies who respond to every virus with a "you've got a virus" email?

craigslist: dallas / ft worth online community - Reminds me of the old-time BBS boards. This site has lots of categories, but mostly I use it for job searches.

ongoing ? Another Whack at Spam - Is paying for email the way to solve the spam problem? If it only cost a penny per message to be free of spam, would you pay? I think I would. I mean, come on, $10 buys me 1000 messages, so to me it's essentially free. But to the spammer who sends 10 million messages hoping for a 0.0001% return, the cost structure is totally unworkable.

If you think this might work, start telling people.
